Transforming A Garden Ready For Summer

We recently completed a full garden landscaping renovation in Stanley, Derbyshire for a new customer of ours. The client wanted a clean, modern space with minimal levels of upkeep. They were also keen to have their new garden ready in time for summer. 

We focused on building a garden that looked great whilst needing very little maintenance. This meant using hardwearing, high-quality materials that would hold up to daily use and seasonal changes.

Smart Garden Design 

To deliver exactly what the customer needed, we broke the project down into key areas. Each section of the garden was carefully planned to make the most of the available space.

Garden Patio Installation

We began with the garden patio. We laid a durable patio using larger rectangular pavers in a clean, simple layout. This gave the customer a solid and attractive space for seating, dining and relaxing outdoors. The patio forms the heart of the garden and ties everything together.

Garden Decking Installation 

Next, we installed a garden decking area to create a second area to the garden. The deck adds interest and breaks up the space in a natural way. It also gives the customer another spot to enjoy the sun or place outdoor furniture. We used pressure-treated timber for a solid finish and long life.

Artificial Grass Installation

We replaced the old lawn with a new artificial grass area. This means the customer never has to mow or water the grass, saving time and effort all year round. The grass we used has a soft, realistic look and feel, so the garden still feels natural without the hassle of upkeep.

Custom Garden Planters

We finished the layout with a number of custom planters. These were custom-built to match the style of the garden and allow for different types of planting schemes. The planters help add colour and shape to the space and make the garden feel more complete.

Blending Style With Practicality

The main goal was to build a garden that suited a busy lifestyle. That meant making it simple to look after, but still pleasant to spend time in. By using artificial turf, custom planters, durable pavers and long-lasting materials, we made sure the garden stays tidy with very little work.
