Block Paving Nottingham - Gallery
There are only two fundamental types of block paving; the kiln-fired clay brick, and the moulded concrete block pavers, which gives rise to the descriptions brick and block paving. In the following text clays are referred to bricks and concrete types as blocks; however, they may both be acknowledged as paviours or pavers.
These pavers are available in a vast range of thicknesses, from 40mm to 120mm; but in domestic use, both the 50mm and 60mm are the most suitable. The 80mm units are used for road building or for areas where there will be some regular vehicle overrunning. The 100mm units are for the heavy-duty paving such as those in dockyards, freight yards or airport taxi-ways. Because of the broad range of products available, choosing a brick or block paver for any project can be a long and complex pursuit, and at Cut Above Landscapes we can offer expert advice to you, to make your decision much easier.
