Pea Gravel - 10 & 20 mm

Pea gravel, while it is, in its own right, a decorative gravel, it is also the prefect material for both drainage and pipe bedding.

Cotswold Buff

Decorative gravel is an easy way to alter any driveway to improve and add considerable value to your property, and the use of Cotswold Buff, a superb cream and white finish, is no exception, and can also be utilized on pathways and finishing off borders.

Golden Gravel

Golden Gravel is the larger size of multi-coloured natural gravel. It is partly rounded with cream, brown and yellow colours, and is used generally for driveways and also for ground cover. Because it is full of chunks it doesn't move around on drives as smaller materials do, and it is very distinctive in ground cover, rockeries and borders. It is very effective and is easy to walk on, but it isn't recommended for pathways.

Slate - Plum / Blue / Green

Whilst slate is normally a grey-blue or grey colour, it can often have multi-coloured effects in its surface, which come from the various differing beds of sedimentary rock from which slate is derived, and very often makes this particular material a contrast of tints. Slate chippings make a good multi-purpose garden solution and are a highly popular decorative aggregate. For whichever use, slate chippings are an ideal medium, whether it's a driveway or a fish pond, we can greatly recommend our slate chippings to transform an outdoor area, as it brings colour and contrast, and is totally suitable for many different uses; pathways, driveways, a decorative mulch, and it doesn't alter the pH of the soil and it aids moisture retention, and because of that, it can also be used safely near or in ponds as it's 'fish friendly'.

Cut Above Landscapes provide, supply and deliver a range of topsoils; screened 10mm Kettering Loam; a blend of organic topsoil and Kettering Loam screened to 10mm; Vegi Topsoil Blend which is higher in nutrient and organic content than our standard screened topsoil - this mix will produce exceptional results - and is especially good for root vegetables; Sterilised Kettering Loam which is a high quality screened Kettering Loam which is screened to 3mm and then sterilised. The loam is then flame heated to a temperature where it not only completely dries the soil, but it also obliterates a high percentage of unnecessary natural weed seed which may be in the soil. It is used by professional growers and gives award winning outcomes to a great many flowering plants; Screened Topsoil 3mm - our 10mm screened topsoil but is screened down to 3mm for those finer applications.

Bark - Ornamental & Play Bark

Our ornamental bark is 20-60mm and is comprised out of fixed conifer bark mulch, with a maximum of 20% whitewood. This ornamental bark is ideal for use on paths and gardens as well as for display purposes. It provides a larger particle size than economy mulch, is manufactured completely from natural, ecology friendly, renewable sources, looks better and lasts much longer.
